Dallas, TX: Heritage Auction Galleries' most recent Marketplace auction, which combined features from Heritage's Signature and Internet-Only auctions, and offered material from such diverse areas as Fine and Decorative Arts, Comic Books, Entertainment Memorabilia, Vintage Sports Collectibles, and Political Memorabilia & Americana, closed on May 31, 2007, reporting final prices realized of $107,332, although after auction sales are still ongoing.
"Our Marketplace venue is an exciting way for our clients to add even more exceptional pieces to their collections on a regular basis," said Heritage Co-Chairman Jim Halperin. "It also gives aficionados in one area a chance to explore collecting possibilities in other categories."
