Savoy Freres & Cie, Rare Silver Minute Repeater with Carillon Chimes, Chronograph and Minute Register, circa 1895Case: massive, sterling silver, 56 mm diameter, open face, double hinged back, slide repeat. pin set on the rim, slide lock-out bar for chrono sweep
Dial: enamel, Arabic chapters, 1/5th second marks, 30 minute register, subsidiary seconds, blue fly-back sweep, rose gold spade hour and minute hands
Movement: 38 jewel, superior grade, gilt bridge, jeweled thru all three hammers, wolfs tooth winding, straight line lever escapement, bi-metallic compensated balance with Brequet spring
Signed: Savoy Freres & Cie on center movement bridge
*Note: Carillon chime repeaters are very scarce. Most repeaters have two hammers and chimes while a carillon chimes the quarter hour positions with three hammers striking in sequential order
