Dial: brushed silver, subsidiary dials for the days and months, date and moon phase apertures, power indicator below twelve, luminous feuille hands, center sweep seconds, applied blue- black indexes and numerals, black minute track with luminous dots
Movement: No. 3636009, automatic, 36 jewels, adjusted heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, 21k gold rotor mounted on zirconium ball bearings, rhodium finish, Geneva seal hallmark, magnifying loupe over the silicon escape wheel, caliber 315 S IRM QA LU
Band: black cousu main, 18k white gold deployant buckle
Signed: all elements signed Patek Philippe, with inner and outer boxes, certificate of origin, and informational/instruction booklet
Note: The revolutionary reference 5250 introduced silicon as a material which will shape the future of horology. It is anti-magnetic, nearly twice as hard as steel, three times lighter than steel and highly corrosion resistant. Substantially smoother than a traditional steel escape wheel, the locking faces of the silicon version never need to be oiled. The movement of the 5250 features an integrated loupe on the back and an additional milled opening on the train bridge for viewing the motion of the unique escape wheel with the characteristic blue-purple shimmer. The production of the 5250 was limited to a mere 100 pieces.
