Overall Condition: Good
Condition Notes: This pendant features two cushion-cut diamonds measuring approximately 9.37 x 7.54 x 6.76 mm and 9.89 x 9.41 x 7.75 mm. One of the cushion diamonds shows a surface feature to one corner identified by GIA as an indented natural, not to be confused with a chip or cavity. Surrounding the center stones are round brilliant-cut diamonds ranging from 4.75 mm to 6.25 mm. These are in good overall condition, though a select few show cavities associated with surface-reaching inclusions. Rose-cut diamonds are also present within the design; some have minor chips visible under magnification, and one is missing.
The piece is designed to function as a pearl enhancer clasp, equipped with two standard female-end box clasp components. Considering the piece’s likely age, some prongs have broken away, with others showing reduced metal contact. Curiously, on either side of the pendant, just above the female clasp portions, the Roman numerals VIII and X can be observed.
