Condition Notes: This fantastic Cartier charm bracelet currently features four charms, with ample space to add additional pieces over time. Each charm is secured with its own Cartier-signed lobster claw-style clasp and bears an individual serial number. The main bracelet clasp is also signed Cartier and engraved with the serial number. The current charms include a Love bracelet-style charm, a star charm, a plane charm, and a box-shaped charm. The piece is offered with its signature Cartier jewelry pouch for safekeeping. Minor markings from previous wear evident to some areas of high polish gold finish. Reference numbers available upon request.
Cartier: In 1847 Louis-Francois Cartier founded his business, creating jewelry made of gold, awash with colorful enamels and glittering gemstones. This appealed to the French aristocracy. His son, Alfred joined him, and later grandsons Louis, Pierre, and Jacques, who took over during the Art Deco era. The company's distinctive Oriental-influenced style helped create a jewelry empire with worldwide locations. Joined by designer Jeanne Toussaint in 1933, Cartier created a range of vanity cases, desk sets and accessories. The firm continues to produce exquisite jewelry, watches, and objects d'art for a prestigious clientele under the umbrella of the Richemont Group.
