Condition Notes: This exquisite floral-motif jewelry suite from Asprey & Co. showcases dazzling craftsmanship in a harmonious blend of 18k white and yellow gold. The pavé-set diamonds form delicate, dimensional flowers with warm yellow gold accents highlighting their centers. The earrings feature a hinged post design, allowing them to be worn comfortably with pierced or non-pierced ears. Marked with the Italian maker’s stamp <1813 AL>, attributed to New Italian Art S.r.l. di Giuseppe Mantelli, based in Valenza, Italy. The ring’s ornate dome-like structure is complemented by an internal flexible band, ensuring a secure fit across multiple finger sizes. A true celebration of floral elegance, this suite embodies Asprey’s legacy of timeless luxury and craftsmanship.
Asprey & Co. : The Asprey firm was founded in 1781 by William Asprey. The business was a high-end retailer of traveling cases and accessories before expanding to include magnificent jewels in the 20th century. The firm continued to grow in reputation spurred by its appointment as the jeweler to the English royal family. The company partnered with Garrad in 1995. The merger didn’t last long, dissolving in 2002. Asprey remains in the original New Bond Street site and caters to prominent customers throughout the world.
