Condition Notes: The watch features a deep blue carved lapis lazuli surround framing a center pavé of single-cut diamonds and classic Roman numeral markers. Full-cut diamonds encircle the bezel and continue down the gold bracelet links, cascading around the wrist and culminating in a total diamond weight of approximately 2.25 carats. While the watch currently ticks, the minute hand does not advance—suggesting a minor mechanical issue likely resolvable with minor servicing. Moderate surface scratches consistent with wear are present on the gold case and bracelet, though they do little to detract from the piece’s visual allure. Accompanied by a small blue folio containing a blank international warranty pamphlet. A captivating timepiece from one of Switzerland’s most revered maisons, combining vivid lapis, lustrous gold, and a halo of diamonds in a timelessly sculptural silhouette.
Piaget: Georges Edouard Piaget started his first watch workshop in La Cote-aux-Fees in 1874, and his business expanded far and wide as he gained recognition for his expertise. Over time, the Piaget brand received acclaim for its ultra-thin mechanical movements. Piaget also introduced the first watch that integrated a bracelet with the case, leading to a new way of thinking about timepieces. The company continues to invest in research, and it operates by the founder’s motto: “Always do better than necessary.”
