The earrings, from the Beyond Color Collection, feature rectangle-shaped boulder opals measuring 26.00 x 12.00 mm and weighing a total of 27.48 carats, enhanced by oval-shaped amethyst weighing a total of 3.72 carats, accented by pear-shaped spinel weighing a total of 1.22 carats, set in 18k gold, completed by omega clip backs, maker's mark for Paula Crevoshay. Gross weight 27.93 grams.

Paula Crevoshay: Paula Crevoshay graduated with honors from VCU in Richmond Virginia and won a full scholarship to the University of Wisconsin where she earned her Master of Arts degree in 1977. She launched her first collection of one-of-a-kind art jewels in 1981. Her work has been shown at such museums as the Smithsonian and the Carnegie, among others, and can be found in many important public and private collections.
