Rolex Ref. 16520 Steel Cosmograph Daytona With Color Change Dial, circa 1996Case: stainless steel, 39 mm, three body, polished and brushed, tachometer graduations on the bezel, screw down Triplock crown and push buttons, sapphire crystal, screw down back, T595077
Dial: gloss black with golden brown toning to the subsidiary rings, tritium markers and batons, outer white 1/5th seconds track
Movement: caliber 4030, rhodium finish, 31 jewels, adjusted to five positions, shock absorber , monometallic balance, straight line lever escapement
Band: steel Oysterlock 78390 bracelet
Note: In rare examples the color of the silver subsidiary dial rings begins to naturally change over time with exposure to sunlight, creating an aesthetically pleasing patina. Collectors call these dials "Patrizzi" or "brown compax" dials.
