E. I. Dent London Early Keyless Gold Watch, circa 1870Case: 18k yellow gold, 45 mm, engine turned back cover, cap shaped crown which winds the movement in reverse direction
Dial: white enamel, subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue spade hands
Movement: gilt 3/4 plate, side lever escapement, gold three arm balance with diamond endstone, cap jewels on the pallet and escape wheel pivots, No. 7208
Signed: dial and movement signed Dent, movement also signed Maker to the Queen
