J.D. Piguet & Fils Rare Early Minute Repeating Pocket Watch, circa 1820Case: 18k rose gold, four body, engine turned back, bezel and rim, 55 mm, engraved cuvette, open face
Dial: engine turned silver with enameled Roman hour numerals and black minute marks, blue steel Breguet moon hands
Movement: gilt, cylinder escapement, flat balance wheel with parachute shock absorbing jewel, bi-metallic hairspring compensation curb arm, 13 jewels, free standing barrel, minute repeat activated from the pendant sounding on inner gong rods, fast/slow index on the balance bridge
Signed: dial and cuvette signed J.D. Piguet & Fils Geneve
