Condition Notes: The ring contains a variety of common gemstone simulants, including synthetic rubies, green glass imitating emeralds, cubic zirconia, and faux pearls. The turquoise cabochons have not been tested for treatments or color origin. The ring is unmarked but has been verified as 18k gold through XRF and standard nitric acid testing, with a total weight of 6.70 grams.
The bracelet is marked and tests as 14k gold, weighing 12.90 grams; several rubies exhibit minor surface blemishes. The brooch is marked 18k / Tiffany & Co. and weighs 14.30 grams.
Tiffany & Co.: Charles Lewis Tiffany (1812-1902) founded the firm that bears his name in 1837. The boutique style business retailed stationery, silver, jewelry and objets d'art.
