Carat: 4.30
Shape: Oval
Origin: Pakistan/Azad Kashmir
Treatment: No Indications of Heating
Type: Sapphire
Overall Condition: Good
Condition Notes: Sapphires have begun to emerge in the remote area of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. This discovery, unsurprisingly, was swiftly labeled as "a new Kashmir sapphire find." It is important to remember, however, that Azad Kashmir does not represent the original Kashmir find as they are both in distinctly different geographical and geological areas. This example, although quite included, this is sizeable sample for the find and represents a unique and new locality for sapphire! A surface reaching feather can be observed to the pavilion side of this stone.
