A. Lange & Söhne 18k Gold Hunter Case Watch, circa 1899Case: No. 48792, 18k yellow gold, 53 mm, textured pattern, applied gold monogram offset on the front, gold cuvette engraved L. Döring Leipzig
Dial: double sunk enamel, Arabic numerals, sub seconds, gold filigree hands, outer minute track with five minute numerals
Movement: No. 48792, gilt 3/4 plate, straight line lever escapement, gold pallet fork and escape wheel, b-metallic compensated balance, regulator with swan's neck spring, gold screwed down jewel setting on the center wheel
