Avg Clarity: VS
Shape(s): Marquise and Full-Cut
Colored Gems:
Type(s): Aquamarine
Shape(s): Pear and Oval
Count: 1 - 25
Avg Quality: Good
Metals:
Gold
Overall Condition: Very Good
Condition Notes: The soothing, well-saturated blue of these aquamarine gemstones pairs cleanly with near-colorless diamonds, resulting in a visually balanced and elegant pair of dangle earrings. The aquamarines measure approximately 15.00 x 11.00 mm to 18.00 x 12.00 mm and exhibit fine color quality. Originally retailed by H. Stern, the earrings are unmarked, and the posts and omega backs are later replacements. Under magnification, one full-cut diamond shows a minuscule chip, and one aquamarine bears a minor scratch on its table. One oval-shaped aquamarine is slightly loose, though it remains secure due to adequate prong coverage. Minor to moderate rhodium loss is visible in select areas of the white gold components.
H. Stern: The Brazilian jewelry company, H. Stern, was founded by a young German émigré named Hans Stern in 1945. He got his start buying and selling colored gemstones in Rio de Janeiro. His sharp eye for color was equaled by his interest in creative design. The company’s golden rule was that each piece had to be beautiful. Once small, H. Stern has grown to an international manufacturer and retailer with boutiques throughout the world. Under the leadership of Hans Stern’s son, Ronaldo, the company continues to design exquisite jewels always set with the finest quality of gemstones. Avg Color: G-H-I
