The lot includes eleven shell cameos in total: one depicting a bucolic scene measuring 43.00 mm x 30.00 mm, set in 14k gold, completed by a pinstem and catch on the reverse (Dimensions: 2 inches x 1-1/2 inches); one Victorian high relief depicting a lady's 3/4 view, measuring 28.00 mm x 24.00 mm, set in 14k gold, completed by a pinstem and "C" catch on the reverse (Dimensions: 1-1/4 inches x 1 inch); one depicting the Virgin Mary measuring 25.00 mm x 20.00 mm, set in 14k gold, completed by a bail, pinstem and catch on the reverse (Dimensions: 1-1/16 inches x 7/8 inch); together with eight unmounted shell cameos, depicting female profiles: three measuring 1-3/8 inches x 1 inch; two measuring 5/8 inch x 7/16 inch; and three measuring 1/2 inch x 3/8 inch. Gross weight 37.96 grams.
