Condition Report*:
Colored Gems:
Type(s): Turquoise
Shape(s): Cabochons
Count: 100+
Avg Quality: Good
Metals:
Gold
White Metal
Overall Condition: Fair
Condition Notes: Despite some expected stone loss, the majority of which are included with the lot and can be reset, this piece retains a strong antique appeal. Designed around a central hinge, it is secured by a male-end clasp component fitted on a hinge just below the snake’s head. The clasp connects into its corresponding female housing, though disengagement can be somewhat challenging due to its positioning; it remains fully functional. The overall construction appears to be of white metal with high silver content, while the head tests as 10k gold through XRF analysis and standard metal testing. The inner bangle is marked "Gerard."
