Condition Notes: Bold and refined, these sculptural bighorn ram's head cuff links are cast in rich 18k gold with intricate detailing. Each features a vivid ruby eye, adding a flash of color and intensity. A striking symbol of strength and style. Tested as 18k gold using the XRF (X-ray fluorescence) method. Marked KW 1969.
Kurt Wayne: Kurt Wayne was born in 1909 in Vienna, Austria. At the age of ten, he was placed in the care of a jeweler, where he learned the crafts of gold and silversmithing, diamond setting and watchmaking. He and his wife immigrated to the United States in 1937, landing in New York City. He opened his business in 1945, where he developed personal relationships with the Zale family and Stanley Marcus of Neiman Marcus. He passed away in 1990.
