In appreciation of Mr. Duckmans pliability in this matter, Frank and Joe, gifted the Copacabana's kitchen manager Phil Duckman this wonderful Tiffany & Co. timepiece. Mr. Duckman managed the swanky club's kitchen from the late 1950's to approximately 1967 and the watch would have been presented in the early 1960's - a heady time at the Copa when sports figures, gangsters, celebrities and politicians drank, ate and laughed together while enjoying the performances of the top entertainers of the day including: Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Sammy Davis Jr., Louis Prima, Keely Smith and of course, Joe E. Lewis and Frank Sinatra.
