J. Meylan Truan & Fils Gold Minute Repeater With Chronograph, circa 1885Case: 18k gold, four body, 54 mm, plain gold cuvette and back cover, front with leaf form swirl overlay initials, gold slide for the repeat function
Dial: white enamel, black Roman numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th seconds, subsidiary seconds at 6, blue spade hands
Movement: gilt bridge, straight line lever escapement, 20 jewels, bi-metallic compensated balance, mirror finished polished steel chronograph levers, steel hammers striking on gong rods
Signed: unsigned, movement with Swiss cross and patent number 4252 for Meylan Truan & Fils, gross weight 123.6 grams
