Dial: black, luminous round, rectangle and triangle markers, date aperture, luminous baton hands, center seconds
Movement: 24 jewel automatic, La Joux-Perret G100, Kiff shock absorber, hack center seconds feature
Band: black rubber band with Aquastar marked steel buckle

This timepiece is presented with original boxes and a hand written letter from Dr. Peter Millar that reads:

As promised here is the prototype of the new Aquastar 60. It will never have the adventures your original had, but I hope you like it.

Dr. Peter McClean Millar is a prolific writer and authority on historical dive watches. His works include "Doxa Sub Forty Years", "Diving With Legends", "A Dive Into Time" and a new book that is in progress titled "Aquastar-Anatomy of a Design" Heritage is grateful to Dr. Millar for sharing his knowledge and works relating to the JeanRichard/Aquastar connection and the historic dives by Captain Don Walsh.

Condition: Overall near new with only a few light scratch on the back of the lugs and the top of the bezel. Movement is as new and running.
