Patek Philippe, 18k Gold Hunter Cased Chronograph, No. 47270, circa 1875Case: No. 47270, 18k yellow gold, four body, gold cuvette, back engine turned, front with American eagle and "E. Pluribus Unum" banner, reeded rim with button for the start, stop and reset of the chronograph and slide lock out lever
Dial: enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th seconds, spade hands, sub seconds
Movement: gilt bridge, straight line lever escapement, bi-metallic compensated balance, wolf's tooth winding, keyless lever, stem setting, visible chronograph works
Signed: case lids and cuvette with Patek Philippe signature and marks, gross weight 143.1 grams, accompanied by an 18k gold 16 inch chain weighing 15.6 grams
