Condition Notes: This Oscar Heyman ring centers a high-domed sapphire cabochon measuring 12.47 × 10.38 × 8.22 mm, set in 18K gold. Framing the sapphire are high-quality accent diamonds, chosen for their exceptional color and clarity. The ring shank is marked for Oscar Heyman, adjacent to serial number 19498, confirming the firm’s renowned craftsmanship and legacy. Diamonds are undamaged and the shank maintains its high polish.
Adding to the rarity and allure of the piece, one side of the sapphire cabochon reveals a remarkable natural inclusion, a rare trapiche-like pattern.
Oscar Heyman Bros.: The Heyman family emigrated from Russia to New York in 1906 where they launched Oscar Heyman & Brothers in 1912.
