Katy Briscoe: Venezuelan born, southwest raised designer Katy Briscoe attended Texas Christian University where she graduated with a BFA in advertising, illustration and design. Her interests turned to the jewelry field and were advanced when hired by Fred Joaillier of Paris. Later ventures included associations with David Webb before leaving to open an independent jewelry design business based in Houston, Texas, Katy Briscoe Inc.
