Condition Notes: A super versatile piece! The transformable long necklace is accompanied by a signed fitted box and paperwork. Authentication paperwork is available upon request. Current retail price $22,900. Necklace clasp marked VCA Au750. Pendant is marked VCA Au750, with French hallmarks. Pendant bale is hinged and snaps closed. Each interchangeable beaded circle is marked VCA Au750. Turquoise, gold and onyx inserts have 23 beads, coral has 25--measuring 2.90 mm - 5.00 mm.

Van Cleef & Arpels: Parisian jeweler Alfred Van Cleef opened his salon in partnership with his brothers-in-law, Julien and Charles Arpels, in 1906. The company quickly earned a reputation for using only the highest-quality colored gemstones. Their timeless designs employed elegant curves and clean, fluid lines, capturing the essence of beauty in motion. In 1930, the firm patented the first minaudiere, a purse-like compartmentalized vanity case. In 1933, Van Cleef and Arpels introduced "invisible setting" or "mystery setting." This innovative technique took the market by storm. The firm continues under the umbrella of the Richemont Group.
