Audemars Piguet Ref. 25979ST, Limited Edition "City Of Sails" For The 30th Anniversary Of The Royal OakCase: three body, stainless steel, polished and brushed, 41 mm, case back engraved with two racing boats, octagonal bezel with eight hexagonal gold screws, screw down crown, sapphire crystal
Dial: slate dial with white radial Arabic numerals on a black band, luminous white baton hands, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the thirty minute register and the twelve hour register with red Alinghi logo, date aperture between 4 and 5, red outermost five minute numerals
Movement: caliber 2385, rhodium finish, 37 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, 21k gold rotor segment
Band: rubber with stainless steel deployant clasp
Note: This very fine timepiece was made in a limited edition of 1250 examples for the 30th Anniversary of the Royal Oak and dedicated to the "Alinghi" team, winner of the America's Cup, 2003.
