Hermès for John Lobb Polished Beech Wood Shoe Trunk and Polishing Kit
Circa 1990s

This shoe trunk is done in polished Beech Wood and Vache Naturelle Leather with Brass Hardware, featuring two side handles, a hinged top compartment with polishing supplies, and a bottom pull-out drawer containing twenty-seven shoe compartments.

This shoe trunk includes:
Seven Polishing Brushes
One Sheepskin Polishing Cloth
Ten Assorted Polish Balms
Ten After Care Creams
One Mini Shoe Horn
Three Detail Brushes
Three Polishing Cloths

There is tarnishing to the hardware, marks and wear to the Beech Wood, as well as scratching, pressmarks, water spots, and marks throughout the Vache Naturelle Leather. The left handle is broken and detached at one side. Most of the tools and products show use and the shoe compartments are darkened.
