Swiss Gold Quarter Hour Repeater With Calendar & Moon Phase, circa 1890'sCase: four body, 14k rose gold, ornately engraved with dragon motif, floral and leaf designs, gold inner cuvette with award medallions, 57 mm
Dial: enamel, Roman hour chapters, outer minute track and 1/5th second marks, date dial at twelve, moon phase and constant seconds at six, central apertures for the days and months, spade hands
Movement: gilt, 3/4 plate, straight line lever escapement, bi-metallic compensated balance, 20 jewels, fly wheel governor, lever set, steel hammers and inner gongs, in need of repair
Signed: cuvette signed Tempora, gross weight is 141 grams

Circa: 1890's
Condition: case is very good, gold cap on the crown partially missing, dial with flakes in the sub seconds dial, movement runs a little with pressure on the mainspring and the sweep works and returns but the time train stops without the pressure, will need servicing, repeat fly wheel spins but not repeating, hands will not advance as they are stuck at the quarter hour change, calendar and moon indications change well from the side levers, inner crystal over the movement is missing
