Shell Cameo, Marcasite, Silver, Gold-Filled, Base Metal Jewelry
The lot includes: one pendant-brooch with a shell cameo measuring 40.00 x 31.00 mm, with marcasite, set in silver, completed by a base metal pinstem and catch (Dimensions: 2-1/16 inches x 1-3/8 inches); one brooch with a shell cameo measuring 24.30 mm x 18.50 mm, set in silver (Dimensions: 1-1/8 inches x 15/16 inch); one pair of earrings with shell cameos measuring 18.40 x 13.60 mm and 18.20 x 13.15 mm, set in gold-filled metal (Dimensions: 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch); and one pendant with a shell cameo measuring 18.70 x 13.65 mm, set in base metal (Dimensions: 1-3/4 inch x 13/16 inch). Gross weight 23.80 grams.

Notes: All cameos depict a lady's profile. Pendant-brooch tests as silver and is marked 800; pinstem and catch do not test as gold or silver. Brooch tests as silver, and has a jump ring where a bail may have been attached. Gold plating has worn off on the brooch. Earrings are marked: WHITE CO. GF 1/20 12KT. One earring has a cameo that is set upside down. Metal on the pendant does not test as silver or gold.
