Condition Notes: This finely-carved cameo of Marcus Aurelius is created from sard variety chalcedony, measuring 20.00 x 15.00 x 4.50 mm, and set in an unmarked ring that tests 14k gold with acid and XRF. The ring shows moderate wear to the scrollwork design along each shoulder, and glue is present along the edges and underside of the stone.
