Condition Notes: The star phenomenon adds an ethereal quality, making this gem a truly stellar find. This mesmerizing sapphire hailing from the illustrious mines of Ceylon, exhibits a striking color change from violetish blue to purple, and is unheated, and untreated. The sapphire exhibits a well centered and defined six ray asterism, along with a noticeable color change under daylight versus fluorescent light, and displays natural inclusions, a polished crown, an unpolished base with large natural cavity extending 1/3 of surface.
