Vacheron Constantin For Cartier Paris, Rare Gold & Diamond Tank Cintrée, circa 1970
Case: 22 mm x 36 mm, 18k yellow gold case and band, two body, case back signed Cartier Paris, inner case back signed Vacheron Constantin, case back secured by 1 screw, diamond set sides, 26 diamonds, approx. 1.00 cttw., No. 156782
Dial: pave diamond dial, 253 diamonds, 1.20 cttw., gold Dauphine hands
Movement: Vacheron Constantin manual wind cal. 1052, 22 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions
Band: first quality 18k gold braided link band, Cartier signed double deployant clasp, 6 5/8th inches

This timepiece is a very rare variant of the classic Cartier Cintrée design. It represents a masterful collaboration between the horological prowess of Vacheron Constantin and the haute joaillerie influence of Cartier. Presumed to be made in very small numbers, we only found one similar example, sans the pave dial, that was sold in April of this year at Sotheby's for 153,400 HKD. That example was in case number 156,778 while the present example is case number 156,782
