Condition Notes: Composed in 14k white gold, this multi-gem necklace features a floral design accented by sapphires, rubies, and diamonds. A continuous strand of cushion-cut sapphires in alternating shades of blue and yellow leads into a central arrangement of pavé-set diamond flowers and stems, further embellished with multicolor sapphire and ruby accents.
The sapphires exhibit internal characteristics typical of natural material, including prismatic crystal, fluid, and silk-like inclusions. Most stones show surface abrasions and minor blemishes consistent with age, with chipping considered minimal overall. The largest sapphire, set above the clasp, measures approximately 9.95 x 10.95 mm with an estimated depth of 4.00 mm. The GIA tested stones consist of the two lowest sapphires upon the chain on the left hand side of the image.
Although unmarked, the necklace has been confirmed as 14k white gold through XRF and standard metal testing. Rich in detail, the piece combines geometric floral motifs with colorful gemstone accents with desirable inclusions, all presented in a distinctly vintage aesthetic.
