Condition Notes: Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this floral-inspired brooch is designed as a five-petal bloom, each petal pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds exhibiting strong brilliance and uniformity. Accenting the design are cabochon rubies and emeralds securely prong-set throughout. The rubies display a richly saturated pinkish-red hue, with some stones revealing prismatic crystal inclusions and fine, reflective silk-like structures under magnification.
The emeralds vary in clarity, with several showing surface-reaching inclusions typical of the material, one stone exhibits minor chipping. Under magnification, two diamonds were observed with small surface chips. These features are consistent with wear and do not detract from the overall presentation of the piece.
