Condition Notes: Lushly styled by Schlumberger Studios for Tiffany & Co., this Lynn bracelet entwines 18k gold ribbons over full-cut diamonds in a signature crisscross motif. The diamonds are secured in platinum basket settings that offer strength and refinement, predominantly in the VVS to VS clarity range. Each link gracefully flows into the next, creating a sense of movement and tailored elegance. The bracelet exhibits expected signs of careful prior wear and maintains its striking presence and structural integrity. Housed in its original black velvet clamshell presentation box, the inner lid is signed "Tiffany & Co. designed by Schlumberger." A distinguished piece embodying the poetic craftsmanship of one of Tiffany’s most iconic designers.
Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co.: Parisian artist and jeweler Jean Schlumberger's (1907-1987) career began as a costume jewelry designer for Elsa Schiaparelli. Recognition came when in 1955; he joined Tiffany & Co., becoming the first designer given the privilege of signing his name to his jewelry. Schlumberger's love of nature such as butterflies, birds, sea life and flowers lead to enchanting designs that are highly prized and collectible to this day.
