Condition Notes: A well matched display of scarlet rubies takes center stage in this tennis-style bracelet by Michael Christoff. The design features 6.00 x 4.00 mm rubies, their rich color heightened by 1.00–1.15 mm diamonds set tightly together to minimize the appearance of white gold. While the diamonds show minor variations in color and clarity, these are limited to the microscopic level. The piece is secured with a box clasp and under-gallery safety latch, both marked with the ruby weight and signed for Michael Christoff/18k.
Michael Christoff: Michael Christoff is a Beverly Hills jeweler, his company established in 2007. His style, fully developed from the beginning, is very feminine. Gemstones are set within diamond frames that are light and sparkling, a reimagining of Edwardian jewelry. His designs continue to grace the hands of many Hollywood stars.
