Condition Notes: Layers of sapphires and diamonds encircle the neck in graceful arcs. Marked 750 and 3869 AL corresponding to maker Dal Lago located in Valenza, Alessandria (Province) in Italy. Sapphires range in size from 8.30 x 8.10 x 4.70 mm to 13.90 x 9.35 x 6.55 mm. The sapphires are dark, many are are heavily included and have surface reaching inclusions. A Carat Club Gem Lab report dated March, 2014 indicates that the provenance of the Sapphires is Myanmar (Burma) and 16 are unheated, the smallest is heated.
