Born in Japan in 1929, Yayoi Kusama is an unclassifiable Japanese artist who has had considerable influence on the contemporary art scene since the early 1960s. Her creativity first came to light in a moment she well remembers from childhood, when she experienced a hallucination: the red flowers on the tablecloth began to multiply, covering the walls, the ceiling, the floor, and her own body. Since that time, her art, especially her dots, are the expression of her hallucinations and obsessions. This patent leather pochette truly reflects her beginnings, as well as making a genuinely outstanding accessory. The exterior is done in yellow patent leather with black dots of alternating size embossed with the Louis Vuitton Classic Monogram. There is one vachetta handle, with gold hardware and a top zip closure. The interior is done in black canvas with yellow dots resembling abstracted and scattered flower petals used as a pattern, with one slip pocket.

This bag is in Pristine Condition. There are no signs of wear. This bag includes a box, a dust bag, an information booklet,and an information card.
