Sculpted gold stems and leaves create graceful movement, while a ruby-set ribbon motif anchors the bouquet at the base. The reverse bears Hungarian hallmarks indicating 14k gold, consistent with the region’s Austro-Hungarian tradition of ornate, gem-rich designs and detailed hand-finishing. Single-cut diamonds add subtle brilliance, a hallmark of Eastern European jewelry from the period. All stones are well-matched and securely set, with minor chipping to a few diamonds. The metal shows moderate oxidation, mostly confined to the reverse. The brooch is in very good condition overall, and the rubies and sapphires exhibit excellent color and clarity.
