Condition Notes: Bold and ornate, this gold pendant-brooch is designed in the form of a richly embellished cross, featuring an artistic mosaic of colored gemstones, brilliant-cut diamonds, and baroque cultured pearls. Intricately detailed and deeply symbolic, the piece radiates both vibrancy and craftsmanship.
The cross is set with a striking array of square and emerald-cut gemstones—including tourmaline, spinel, sapphire, peridot, and emerald—ranging in size from approximately 5.50 × 5.50 mm to 6.60 × 6.30 mm. These vivid stones form the body of the cross in an intentional chromatic rhythm, enhanced by brilliant-cut diamonds, some of which display a light brown body color, offering warmth and subtle contrast.
Three baroque cultured pearls are suspended from the lower and lateral arms, adding natural texture and a soft luster to the angular structure of the design.
The piece is completed with a pinstem and swivel safety catch, allowing for secure wear as a brooch, while also suitable for pendant conversion.
