Overall Condition: Good
Condition Notes: A refined Art Deco creation, this bracelet is composed with a strong linear sensibility. The sapphires display vivid, uniform color and were produced by flame fusion, a technique developed in the early 20th century and widely embraced during the Deco period as a demonstration of modern technology. At the time, synthetic sapphires were viewed as progressive and celebrated for their ability to replicate qualities once thought exclusive to nature.
Diamonds are neatly set in platinum prongs, reinforcing the bracelet’s crisp geometry. The clasp is a Deco era box style with an under gallery safety latch that functions securely. Under magnification, minor abrasions are visible on some sapphire facets, and one supporting diamond shows a small crown chip not visible to the naked eye. The platinum exhibits light surface wear at contact points. A white metal safety chain further secures the design, and one calibre cut sapphire is missing as a result of a fractured link.
