    Takashi Wada: Takashi Wada, a Japanese designer, creates jewelry with spiritual influence. He is inspired by the simplest designs such as an egg, for its soft, smooth surface and curving form. He works with mixed metals including sterling silver, platinum, and gold. He has won numerous awards including first place in the U.S. Sterling Silver Design Contest in 1971. In 1985, he was declared one of the world’s top 10 designers by the Platinum Guild. His collections of fine and fashion jewelry have been exhibited at museums, galleries, and design shows around the world. Several of his pieces are on permeant display at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum of Design in New York.
