The lot includes four bangles: one featuring rubies and multi-color sapphires weighing a total of approximately 3.35 carats; one featuring rubies weighing a total of approximately 0.45 carat, and multi-color sapphires weighing a total of approximately 0.30 carat; one featuring full and rose-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.35 carat; all three set in 18k gold; and one crafted in 18k gold; marked Ippolita. Gross weight 40.70 grams.

Ippolita: She was born in Florence on December 10, 1963. At an early age she was inspired by the sculptures of Henry Moore. She attended the Istituto d'Arte in 1982. She immigrated to Los Angeles in 1983, and after completing her BA in English Literature at Occidental College, moved to New York. She began designing jewelry in 1993 and launched her first 18k gold jewelry collection at Bergdorf Goodman in 2000. In 2008 she launched her silver line, and rosé, a proprietary gold and silver alloy makes its debut.
