Condition Notes: This 18k gold hinged bangle bracelet features four full-cut diamonds framing a central two-tone Hercules knot motif, completed with a hidden box clasp and secured with a figure-eight safety latch. There is wear visible to the rhodium plating at the white half of the knot. The latch bears an Italian maker's mark <590 VI> attributed to Fratelli Veronese S.r.l. di Luana Veronese, located in the city of Costabissara, in the province of Vicenza, Italy.
The Hercules (or Heracles) knot holds deep cultural significance, dating back to ancient Greco-Roman mythology, where it symbolizes protection and unbreakable love, and enduring strength.
