Note: Antique and vintage gold jewelry by Georg Jensen is relatively rare. Almost all jewelry made by the firm is designed in silver and semi-precious stones. This particular brooch, as well as the following lot, bears the stamp GJ&W, for Georg Jensen & Wendel A/S, a mark used from 1945 to 1951 to denote items that were sold in the Copenhagen salon.
