The brooch features pear-shaped diamonds weighing a total of 7.22 carats, enhanced by marquise-shaped diamonds weighing a total of 7.94 carats, accented by by full-cut diamonds weighing a total of 5.14 carats, further enhanced by baguette-cut diamonds weighing a total of 2.69 carats, set in platinum, completed by an 18k white gold double pinstem, marked Van Cleef & Arpels, reference number 16499. Gross weight 25.90 grams.

Van Cleef & Arpels: Parisian jeweler Alfred Van Cleef opened his salon in partnership with his brothers-in-law, Julien and Charles Arpels, in 1906. The company quickly earned a reputation for using only the highest-quality colored gemstones. Their timeless designs employed elegant curves and clean, fluid lines, capturing the essence of beauty in motion. In 1930, the firm patented the first minaudiere, a purse-like compartmentalized vanity case. In 1933, Van Cleef and Arpels introduced "invisible setting" or "mystery setting." This innovative technique took the market by storm. The firm continues under the umbrella of the Richemont Group.
