    Enamel, Pearl, Gold Locket-Brooch

    The bar brooch features seed pearls, enhanced by a knotted rope, suspending a round locket, accented by a seed pearl, and purple enamel applied on 15k yellow gold. The memorial locket opens to reveal two compartments, one housing a lock of hair, and the other, an infant's portrait. The back of the the locket is inscribed "G.P.C.D 6th July-19th Oct 1914".
