Condition Notes: The four pear-shaped rubies at the center of the design measure approximately 5.45 × 3.45 × 1.80 mm to 6.00 × 4.00 mm and exhibit attractive qualities. Under magnification, most rubies display intact crystalline and silk-like inclusions, with chipping observed only sparingly, a few rubies bear cavities within a microscope. The pinstem on the reverse is stamped 14k, while the overall design has been verified as 18k through XRF and standard metal testing. The diamonds are set in platinum for contrast, and are clean, near-colorless, and largely undamaged, with the exception of one in the wing showing a chipped pavilion.
