    The griffin brooch features European and Mine-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 3.60 carats, enhanced by round-shaped demantoid garnets weighing a total of approximately 0.70 carat, accented by a rose-cut ruby, further accented by three pearls ranging in size from 6.00 x 5.85 mm to 4.75 x 4.70 mm, set in platinum topped 14k gold, completed by a pinstem and catch on the reverse. (pearls not tested for origin) Gross weight 22.95 grams.
