Diamonds:
Avg Color: G-H-I
Avg Clarity: SI
Shape(s): Transitional, European, Mine, and Rose-Cut
Count: 100+
Metals:
Silver-Topped Gold
Overall Condition: Fair
Condition Notes: The brooch on the left is composed of silver topped 10k gold and is executed as a floral motif with radiating petal forms. Each outer petal is set with an alternating arrangement of mine and rose-cut diamonds, creating a rhythmic, textural sparkle across the design. The central stone is a European cut diamond, anchoring the composition. On the reverse, a modern 14k gold pinstem and catch are present and are believed to be later additions rather than original to the piece.
The larger brooch on the right features an en tremblant flower motif and is primarily constructed of silver topped low karat gold. At its center is a transitional cut diamond measuring approximately 7.50 mm, exhibiting low relief inclusions consistent with an SI clarity range. This stone shows heavy abrasions and bruising along its pavilion mains. Approximately half of the diamond accents that originally formed the surrounding halo are missing due to prior loss. Each piece has undergone slight modifications over time, with more modern catch securing each piece.
